1. Where is the Probation Department located?

The Probation Department is located in the Safety Building, 335 W. Third Street, Room 362, Dayton, Ohio 45402. The phone number is (937) 333-4375

2. Am I on probation with Dayton Municipal Court Probation Department?

Our department supervises defendants referred by Dayton Municipal Court. To confirm if you are on probation, please call our office Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 at (937) 333-4375.
Please have Case Number available.

5. When is my appointment?

Appointments are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday Through Friday. To find out your appointment call your Probation Officer (see #4). If you do not know your probation officer call 333-4375.

6. Who is on Probation?

Information regarding who is on probation is available by calling 333-4375. Questions regarding specifics of a person's probation requirements will only be answered for persons authorized to receive this information.

7. When are restitution payments due?

The due dates for payments are established by the restitution office and must be made to that office with either a certified check or money order made out to the victim. For due dates call the Restitution Coordinator at 333-4398.

8. What is the status of the restitution payments?

Information regarding payments and due dates for restitution cases can be obtained by the victim, defendant or appropriate criminal justice personnel by calling the Restitution Coordinator at 333-4398.

9. Where is community service performed?

Community service agencies eligible to avail themselves to community service workers must be either public or not for profit agencies. To obtain a list of current sites or to inquire about becoming a community service site call the Community Service Coordinator at 333-4398.
